Battery and Charger Sizing Calculator

This battery and charger calculation includes assessing all DC loads within the substation to determine their power requirements, defining the required backup duration, and calculating the appropriate battery capacity considering aging factor, temperature, and design margins as per IEEE 485 and 1115. It also involves sizing the charger to supply continuous load current and maintain the battery in a fully charged state with proper voltage and current ratings as per IEEE 946-2020.
